Finance minister Giorgos Alogoskoufis, speaking in the Macedonian capital of Thessaloniki, told the Association of Industries of Northern Greece that they should "Ask not only what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country and its citizens", when it comes to keeping prices lower. As inflation flirts with 5%, the minister said tackling over-inflated prices was not merely the responsibility of the government but also that of industries and companies. Related Items: |
