Tin box presented by Haitoglou Bros S.A in their wish to contribute to the promotion and distinction of the cultural elements of Macedonia, with original subject inspired from the architecture and the folklore of the area.
It is based on 90*90cm oil painting created by painter Giorgos Siozos.
Figure:Thassos.Mansion house in the well known from the ancient times island of Thassos,which was a significant crossing between the urban centers of Thessaloniki and Constantinople.The costume has influences from the urban style,it is made of expensive silk of vivid colours, or cotton silk fabric, and is accompanied by a special kerchief which is most impressive. A design like that should not be worn by any other woman on the island.
