Default My view upon the Balkan mudhole.

Let me summarize how I see the situation in respect to all of the countries bordering Greece - once again.

Thy neighbors deserve all their suffering. Still, the Albanians are worse from them, but they are not genetically retarded and doomed to be subhumans as many folks - especially amongst the Unutterables who oppose us - like to believe.

Let me add more detail now.

This country has to realize that they did the worst thing possible at trying to increase their influence within Greece, and allow the Albanians to rule their back yard. Yes, Greece acted very differently, with an aggressive assimilation campaign, and it payed out. Those imbeciles just proved their inferiority by their failure to do the same. Instead of that, the Albanians grew tired of the tirades against Greece that offered nothing to them, and grew insolent of the injustice with the way the seats of the parliament were allocated.

That was until 2001. Then the Albanians fought back and managed to take back much of the imbeciles land, within their own country!!! and then they proceeded to transform these lands to another copy of Albania, with all of its' backwardness.

To be honest, the Albanians were always discriminated against in all of Yugosavia, and they has the least and worst jobs all of the time, but they had their own Albania where the situation was even worse, to the poit that the Kossovars are still mocking the proper Albanians and their country. Still, Albania has better futur prospects than Kossovo, simply because it has a coastline, and as a matter of fact, a lot of it.

Thus, the Albanians have a staggering 65% unemployment in Kossovo and another 60% or so in our imbecile neigghbours' country. Our imbecile neighbors are not much better with a 35% unemployment overall in their country, but this simply reveals that the Albanians are second rate citizens in there. The unemployment rate amongst the non-Albanians there must be around 25%-30%, versus the Albanians.

The reason for which the Albanians are second rate citizens falls to both parts equally. The Albanians have a long tradition of emigrating outside of the country because the good jobs were always off-limits for them, but they never managed to make themselves attractive anyway. All of the reports that show the Albanians all over the Balkans behaving as first cousins of the Turks are accurate, while the rest of the region has managed to attract both foreign tourists and foreign investment by appearing more European.

The imbeciles had an obligation to "show them the light", i.e. to try to westernize them, the least, or to assimilte them, the most. They failed miserably in both accounts because - alas - neither them nor the Serbs were that much Westerners themselves. The Serbs can be excused for their stance since the Kossovars have been the least (and latest) of their problems (and wars) but the others had no other excuse, no other threat to care about. Albeit they chose to start bickering with Greece instead because Greece was able (and totally bulls-eye) at controlling its' affairs within its' soil, and resulted to a stabilization of the Greece in our days.

Their repayment was no other than to see Greece remain stable and as much determined to damage them as they were attempting to damage Greece, and at the same time the situation with their backyard deteriorated, went out of control, and still keeps hurting them and their prospects. Unless if they divert their attention in there soon, they shall risk the destabilization of their country in the long term.

The Albanians, on the other hand, have also run out of options. Their support to the abomination of Kossovo cannot be claimed to be a success, either politically and even more financially. The political side wouldn't even matter in the short term, if the economy of that place could stand on its' feet, but it won't, and not just because of the instability in the political arena. The Kossovars have failed to quell the lawlessness in their fief, much like the Albanians themselves have failed to stabilize their own country for a very long time (going from the one uprising to the other), deal with tribalism and the heinous tribal laws like the Kanoun and the modern scourges of narcotics and human trafficing. Although these scourges have been commonplace all over the Balkans, especially during the wars resulting from the collapse of Yugoslavia, one cannot explain why the Albanians alone have been targeted as the ones dominating the mob in much of western Europe and have expanded even to the U.S.A. The Moldovans migt be "selling" their women, but they still don't get as much involved as pimps as the Albanians do. There is evidently something fundamentally wrong with the Albanians themselves.

What has gone wrong with them is neither related to Islam or the Ottoman domination over them, nor with the Communist years of Enver Hoxha. It has been by far older - essentially ancient - and more worrisome than those temporary traits that most foks identify with their chronic situation. There is practically no time in history when either the Illyrians or the Albanians later were not identified as thiefs and pirates and effective soldiers, when conscripted to a proper army. Their fate is more or less parallel with that of the Kurds who have suffered from their mountainous and hostile terrain as much, and also have been known as bandits since they were extorting money from the Persian empire for crossing their terrain and forcing Xenophons' myriad to a harassment much more gruelling than the fighting "skills" of the hundreds of thousands of the Persian troops.

The Albanians have the unenviable task of getting detached from the behaviour that their own soil has imposed upon them for millenia, and they urgently need to concentrate on that task, or risk imploding into a mess that would make all of those who preached of an impeding Albanian expansion in all directions eat their words.

In a few words, we are dealing with a bunch of - one way or another - retarded Balkaners, who have the common trait of dealing with and blaming their immdiate neighbors, more than they care about their own. Greece has also been drawn in this quagmire, a least in terms of rhetoric, despite the fact that we have effectively stronger inks with the Western Europe rather than with that filthy rathole that surrounds us in all directions, with the notable (and recent) exception of Bulgaria, where the rathole seems to be slowly giving its' place into a Western society - alas not yet, but the trend is by all means irreversible, and the results are already startling.

As far as the E.U. is concerned, everybody more or less has seen the fatigue brought about from the expansion into 10 more states less than a decade ago, and Europe is now weary of expansions into impoverished countries like Poland or Slovakia, while it despises getting into another mess like Cyprus. As one can notice, all of the countries bordering Greece and not already within the E.U. combine both of these evil traits, poverty and conflicts between Turks and Kurds, Albanians and the Unutterables, and one Albanian tribe against another Albanian tribe - these Albanians are still in the middle ages, if not in Antiquity - in terms of political organization.

Guess what, we all have to quit fighting real or (in the case of Greece) imaginary conflicts, and start improving ourselves instead, before we witness all of Central Europe surpassing us, and confirming the defintion of much of the Balkans as a mudhole. For us, in Greece, this can be accomplished with ease, but for you folks, I very much doubt so...
