As a result, the Cyprus issue won't get solved this year, and thy neighbors won't have much support from Turkey...

If they ban the party it's no big deal, they'll just form another one. What is significant is that Erdogan and other senior members of AKP may be banned from political activity, so who will lead the new party and why will the people vote for them? Many AKP votes will be lost to Atarturk's "People's Party" and to Bahceli's Nationalists (and Grey Wolves).

I'm not sure that many people shall be lost that easily. Erdogan was himself banned from participating from the first elections that gave power to the AKP, and Gul was the prime minister instead of him for a small period of time. This can be repeated again and again...
