Default Medvedev becomes Russia's president, names Putin as PM

Don't be deluded though, Putin is still in charge. Putin is the leader of the political party which has the majority of seats in the Russian parliament. It'll be interesting to watch this symbiosis. Legally, the president can sack the PM and parliament can sack/impeach the president. The chances of Medvedev trying to go it alone are very slim.
