I think the africans are one of the most supressed people throughout the ages. Greeks had african slaves but i dont know if its an excuse, they were treated as citizens, and also had there own land and house. Under the Roman rule there use became more intense basically having no human rights....till the 20th century and i still believe in America there is large scale racial tension between blacks and whites.

But in no way does it excuse there un civilised mannerism's. I think every country has been racialy discriminated......all i see is rap music about violence and them rolling in bengies with 40's and whatever else...where is there aid for there people back home........????

Anyways this topic could get ugly....and the irony of it is that modern Greeks and any other race is in no golden age at the moment anyway.....there are major issues facing everyone.

Also there is no such thing as the "white race" or the "black race". Humanity is just a genetic continuum with certain groups posessing closer genetic traits with some genetic groups than with others.

Let me just say, im not racist. I just spoke what I believe and the argument seems fairly mixed. I have nothing Black people, a great freind of mine is Jamaican. But as far as the history of the nations are concerned, you can't say they were advanced. For example, even if they are poor, they should try harder for them selves and stop relying on other countries. A lot of the governments take money with out thinking, from Europe and America and end up in massive debt.

Their are charaties to help them build a well. But lets be serious here. 2500 years ago, the Greeks of Samos cut through a mountain to get water to the people. They need to stop asking from other countries all the time.

Government corruption and the welfare they give to the farmers while they are sitting drinking cofee all day in the kafenio, and then cry for handouts make me sick. Yeah somewhat true. I think all Greeks in general are lazy when it comes to upholding the Greek "code".

Unfortunately there is little choice considering the overwhelming push for a world order which leaves little room for significance in history and culture.
