No, we don't look like asians. Azerbaijan is in Caucasus close to Georgia and Armenia. Mongolic turcic nations are on the other side of Caspian sea in Central Asia. We look like georgians, greeks, turks, spanish people and other south european nations. Mostly dark hair, but sometimes bloneds and people with coloured eyes too.

Baku is very beautiful city. It is mostly european, but has some caucasian and middle east architecture too. Really impressive. As you could see from the thread in my signature, it is booming very fast.

It is not as Cyprus conflict, it is even more difficult in relations and sollution process. Azerbaijani leadership offer the highest status of autonomy to armenian citizens of Azerbaijan who live in Karabakh. Also we agree with close relation Karabakh will have with Armenia itself. But they want independence and we can't say "yes" to separatism like this.

Armenians expelled hundreds of thousands azerbaijanies from Armenia in 1988 before the war. So by the time karabakh war began we had no minority in Armenia but armenians live in Azerbaijan. But after the war, we have only armenians live in self-proclaimed Karabakh and some 30 000 armenians (most of them are wives of azerbaijani men) live in Azerbaijan. But show me only 1 azerbaijani live in Armenia or occupied territories. There are no azerbaijanies there.

Yeah, this is true.
But Azerbaijan is the only secular state with shii muslims majority in the world. As a matter of fact, azerbaijanies are more secular than turkish, though there are religious population too.
