Russia's Moskva cruiser to join naval group in Mediterranean

Moscow, Jan 13 -- The missile cruiser The Moskva, of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, has left the naval base of Sevastopol to set course towards the Mediterranean. The ship flies the flag of the Black Sea Fleet's deputy commander, Vice-Admiral Vasily Kondakov.

The Black Sea Fleet's public relations service has told Itar-Tass The Moskva is expected to accomplish training missions in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.

"In the near future The Moskva - the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet - will join the naval task force led by The Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser," the source said.

Three support ships - two tankers and a rescue tug ship - are already in the Mediterranean Sea.

Isnt the rumour that Kosovo will declare unilateral independence in March?What if these ships are off the coast of ALbania at that time?THat would be interesting!

Several Russian provocations, like missile test firings, close ship interceptions and demonstrative flights over airspace of Albania, but nothing in form of intervention.

Serbia recently adopted "secret" action plan in case of Kosovo's proclamation of independence.I say "secret" because clearly military option, certainly not of full-scale warfare is not in option and the only thing that remains is severing of diplomatic ties, radical approach to Russia and Belarus and economic/transport isolation of Albanians.

I desire a solution to Kosovo problem, which must mean full, permanent deportation of Albanian population out of Serbian soil.But that requires not only radical streightening of Serbia, something which will take lot of time, but also a tectonic geopolitical and ideological redrawal of global relationship, also something not likely to happen in near future.

Is there any chance there will be a partition?

Yes, but not voluntary.Albanians won't agree on that since they want even some land arround Kosovo.Serbian "underground diplomacy" mentioned partition in sence of autonomy for the Serbian enclaves, the most prominent being in the North,but this was rejected from the relevant factors.

But partition is possible if the local Serb put demands and some resistance.
