I will swap with you Alita. I never liked the cold weather here in Chicago. It can be bone chilling at times (although I am sure Nsminc has it much worse). Good surfing this time of year in your neck of the woods?

I'm pretty sure M25. The summer temp and humidity index you describe must be similar to here. We are next to a lake surrounded by prairie. Intense temperature in the summer and winter. On the other hand, I am sure you never had to endure a -28 degrees celsius slicing through your body. Mind you this is not a common occurence but it does happen often enough to make you uncomfortable. Having to go through the ritual of putting on many layers of clothes just to be able to last 10 to 15 minutes outside is a pain in the ass. I am sure it is a nightmare for smokers who are not allowed to smoke in any indoor environments (restaurants, office buildings, bars, etc.).

I feel your pain nsminc. I'm at work now and expect some major shoveling when I get to my crib in laSalle. I can usually see mount royal from my office but now I cant see 2 feet infront of the window. nasty.

Trust me it's snowing. You can see the control tower of Montreal's airport being blotted out.
