Yes, this is true. Kemal prefered boys to girls and his marriage was a disaster. Truth Bearer, the origin of the Thraco-Illyrian tribes is probably related to that of the Scythians, Sarmatians and the other Iranian people. They were dark people with dark eyes, unlike the Slavs most of whom were of fair complexion.

That isn't conclusive Rhino I don't think all Pomaks are that dark.If that is the case then they aren't indigenous to the Balkans are they Rhino?

So say most of his biographers... Debar now is almost completely Albanian town, and instead of showing fake muscles to Greece and Bulgaria, the fyromist should better think what may remain of their republic after the proclaiming of the independence of Kosovo...

Yes, but I think that Pomaks have little to do with the Thracian and Illyrians. Most of them are Bulgarians, converted to Islam. Since the Bulgarian nation is, above all, a mixture of proto-Bulgarians, Slavs and some Thracians tribes, many Pomaks may not look dark.

Pomaks counted nearly a more than half a million a century ago, but two-third of them left Bulgaria after the Liberation in 1878 and over one hundred thousand of the remaining Bulgarian Pomaks were reconverted to Christianity during the First Balkan War (1912-13) and later.

Your brother's the fyromians are so confused and really haven't grasped what it means to run a country all they think about is how to protect a name that really doesn't belong to them.Rhino how can it be that they hate the Bulgarians which so muych hate and yet they share the same blood as you??
They will lose western fyrom to the Albanians which really is their own fault.They have to understand that 38% of the population being of Muslim faith(Albanians & Turks) they have a large say in the politics of fyrom.They need to find a compromise within their own country so they can appease the Albanians since they arenot accepted as "macedonians" do you understand Rhino?They themselves are alienating this minority.They must find a name that includes both these people not just "Macedonia"......

There have been sixty years full of lies and speculations and the people there are very confused.

Yes it is very sad and tragic how one set of the same race,same blood,same culture yet these people despise you and don't want nothing to do with their mother Bulgaria.I can't accept that we must put all the blame on Tito either since 4 years earlier these same people cheered the Bulgarian army in Skopje.People Rhino just don't change like that in such a short time their ethnical roots,there has to be more to it.
I can accept that the Vlachs not being Bulgarian and thus hating Bulgarianism but according to these fyromians the Vlach minority isn't even 8000 strong(which is a lie).Us they hate us because their puppeteers have told them that we ethnic cleansed them??!!
