Peter Deljan-The Bulgarian

Among other medieval Bulgarians ,skopjans claimed also Peter Deljan (Petros Deleanos) ,a man who revolted against Greek Byzantine authorities in the 11th century.
His rebellion took place primarily in Thema Bulgaria (aka FYROM and surrounding lands).

Lets see how is he named in Skylitzes manuscript (13th cent. illustrated Byzantine manuscript-now in Madrid)

1)Petar Delian was Bulgarian
2)Skopjian scholars are dumbheads: this image is taken from the Skopjian History school book.

Its clear that the Byzantines considered him Bulgarian, but these idiots claim that he was "Macedonian" who lived in Thema Bulgaria,and that's why he was considered Bulgarian!
