"At this the Bulgarians, who were not of Slav but of Turanian (Mongol) origin, were still dwelling to the north of Haemus. But in the early ninth century, under Kroum (803-814), they made raids on Thrace; and later under Simeon (893-927) Bulgarian hordes entered Macedonia, advanced to the walls of Constantinople in the east and even reached the Corinthian coast to the south. These hordes caused much devastation but they did not change the ethnological character of the regions they plundered. In any case Simeon's victories were short-lived...By this time the Bulgarians, had become MERGED with the Slavic peoples, and the name 'Bulgarian' had become to denote all the slav-speaking people, the old term 'Sclavinians' having dropped out of use (11)...Greeks not only predominated in the towns but in the country-side, for the Slavic settlers had never at any time displaced completely the original populations (13)."

Funny thing is that they claim that they are Macedonia and yet, Skopje(city) and 80% of their country is on Dardanian land! Dardania was Macedonia's greatest enemy(as far as they were concerned)

If people do not believe that, you can find it anywhere. Skopje was 2nd or 3rd largest Dardanian city

They only have a small part of Pelagonia and Almopia. 95% of the historical territory of Macedonia is now Greek territory.
What they have is all the territory of ancient Paionia and the southern part of Dardania. The northern part of Dardania is roughly the modern-day region of Kossovo and a part of Serbia, the region around Nish.
The Skopjan propagandists like to use maps showing the extent of the Macedonian Kingdom, when Paionia and a part of Dardania belonged to Macedonia. The reasons why they do this are obvious. If they presented maps of historical macedonia then their claim would look ridiculous.

Well, this must be some kind of a joke. All the persons who come from fyrom sign in with a ""macedonia""-something in their nickname. You are continuing on trying to convince yourselves you 're macedonian by repeating it all the time to yourselves.Still, you have such beautiful names like Branko ,Ljubco ,Boris.
United Macedonia? One unites what has been devided. And what do you want to unite. In your country you have a LARGE Albanian minority with which you don't get along. You wanna be united with Greece and become a new Yugoslavia from an ethnic point of view. Why don't you people study YOUR history.Wake up!Don't you see that such theories with which your propaganda feeds you,one day we'll arrive to the point "it's us or them". And this doesn't suits you.
