What is European? On a nutshell: European is anybody who is geneologically/ethnically/culturally descended/related to a White Christian. Coarse they are Europeans. Over glorification of the self(enlightened Greco-Roman), accompanied with down-playing others is worse text than Skopjian ultra-nationalism ..

Demetrios, I was hoping you will notice your inappropriate behavior and at least keep silence for a while, if not an excuse, which is privilege to a man of honor! Answering you question about am I touchy or what, I will try to put it as simple as possible: If you have something against me personally I wouldn't answer, but rather think about my own mistakes. But edifying a complete nation is wrong and unacceptable! Read again your own posting - you did it for more than one nation! Can you understand this? You wrote that you like the Greek culture - here is my position: I admire it! Of course it is a substantial part of the European culture today, and now tell me as a Greek - is your posting the one that Greece would be proud of? You know, the human relations are like every coin - there are always 2 sides: 1. You come for a hug - you get a hug. 2. "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth". Somehow it reminds me the European slogan "united in diversity". It's your turn to decide whether you like it. |

And as you know I was banned for opposing the slavs - enemies to both greece and Bulgaria. Actually, have any of you heard the story of Thomas_the_Slav? Ok, then lets have a quick look back into the history, shall we? here is what wikipedia says generally: Thomas the Slav was originally a Byzantine military and naval commander entrusted with a very high command during the reign of Emperor Leo V the Armenian. However, upon the death of simon and the ascension of the New Emperor Michael who was a rival General of Thomas, he started to stir up rebellion. In his account of the revolt of Thomas the Slav, the historian Genesius lists a variety of peoples from whom the armies of the rebel were drawn: Saracens, Abasgians, Getae, Alans, Chaldoi, Armenians, Vandals and adherents of heretical sects of the Paulicians and Athinganoi.[1] In the eastern part of the empire he claimed to be the blinded Emperor Constantine VI who somehow escaped blinding, and in the west he took a fiercely Iconofile stance. Thomas was so convincing, a coronation ceremony was held for him in Muslim controlled Antioch. Everywhere however he took up a stand as champion to the poor. With support from the caliph Mamun, Thomas invaded the Empire in the spring of 821 AD and within a matter of months only 2 themes in Asia Minor remained loyal to Michael. In December 821 he besieged Constantinople. Thomas however was not able to breach the walls of the great city and had to retreat due to weather and a Bulgar army attacking Thomas. Thomas was powerless to resist when the Emperor rode out to his last stronghold of Adrianople and defeated Thomas once and for all. This is a perfect sign of co-operation between bulgarians and greeks against slavs. Picture of how the bulgarian army massacres the slav army |

I have nothing against Bulgarians as long as they dont have aspirations on Greek territory and history like some do. I read from numerous places which I cant remember right now but once I find I will post that the original Bulgarians where a Turkik tribe led by some guy called Krom, Krum or whatever from Central Asia who entered Europe during 2 century A.D.
