Default Origins of the Bulgarians (split thread)

You lost in the Macedonian struggle because you never aquired what you wanted which was the land of fyrom and today's Greek Macedonia.
What sort of Slavic name is Krum???And calling him a Khan too??That my friend is a MONGOLIAN trait so now you tell me what or who are the BULGARIANS???Are you Mongolians or Slavs???
Do you see what I'm trying to tell you??
This is the major difference between my people are you lot.Our language, culture has not changed since eternity your lanbguage and culture has chopped and changed consitently throughout the ages.
So I ask u again who are you? What is a BULGARIAN??????
I suppose your going to claim the Thracians are Bulgarians.

You gained Macedonia not because of the Macedonian struggle but because of the wars.

As far as the "Mongolian" Krum is concerned there is not a single Byzantine (or any other) chronicle in which the Bulgarian khans are depicted with Asiatic features. Not a single one.

I don't understand why racism makes you so happy. Even if we were 100% Mongolian I see no problem with that.

TB whats your point? The Bulgarian ethnonym originally applied to a Tataric people who conquored the more prolific Slavs and eventually because of their numbers the ethnonym came to apply exclusively to a Slav speaking people.

Incorrect there Voulgaroktonos as the Bulgars were there before the Slavic invasions and yes they ruled the Slavs who evetually by sheer weight of numbers succumbed under the Slavic yoke.
