In extension the Slaves of ancient Greece were actually a class. They had access to education and other priviladges, in most cases been a slkave in ancient Greece was very acceptable by either sides. That's enough of my subtle Hellenization of you

Its the other way round Slavs gave their name to the word Slave. The Byzantines referred to Slavs as Sklavenoi (and the Latins Sklabus), and because so many Slaves in Byzantium and the West were Slavs, they gave their name to the word Slave. Previously the word Doulos was the most common Greek word for Slave.

The word slave in the English language originates from the Middle English sclave, from the Old French esclave, the Medieval Latin sclavus, the early Greek sklabos, from sklabenoi Slavs, of Slavic origin; akin to Old Russian Slovene, an East Slavic tribe.[8][9] The term sclavus originally referred to the Slavs of Eastern and Central Europe, as many of these people had been captured and then sold as slaves.

and the word slavs comes from the word slava which means "glory" ok.
and why is being a slav a "great insult"? are you ashamed of your heritage tankista?
i realy feel sorry for you bratko, the slavs have been mentioned in the balkans long before tito and stalin ok, in ohrid we have original scripts of st.kliment who was a slavic teacher and spread slavism around and he lived before any of tito's and stalins's great ancestors were born.
so dont embaress yourself anymore

Now there is my kind of Balkanian...true blue to his origins!! Well done. I support your colouring theory, have not seen any blonds in Northern Greece. SLAVENI are mentioned in all Byzantine docs and litriture.

Of course I do

Wrong! The equivalent to macedonism is slavism and panslavism.

what are you talking about?
PM me, and i will send you materials in bulgarian
Quote:
how can you say your not slavs?
I can, because that is the truth. Slavs are subhumans who generally were fcuked up by everyone who fought with them.
Quote:

do you think everyone in russia and ukraine are blond with blue eyes?
The percentage of blue eyed people there is higher than Bulgaria FYROM and Greece.
Quote:

No - this are most of the bulgarian people. The slavic ones live in Serbia Poland Ucraine Belarus Russia Chesz Slovakia and Slovenia.

No - its not ok. Slav derives from the greek and the latin words meaning "slave". Slavs used for first time the word "slava" in 8 th century while, the world had heard the word "slavs" from several centuries backwards.
Quote:
and why is being a slav a "great insult"?
Slavs are the "retards" of the white race. The lowest scum. Plus - slavism is characterized by communism. Just see Yugoslavia.
Quote:
are you ashamed of your heritage tankista?
Nop. My heritage is strictly bulgarian. Iranic bulgarian heritage. Bulgarians don't have slavic heritage
But if we did had, then YES I would have been ashamed.

Oh yes. They were. Actually here is one great historical moment when Khan Omurtagh massacres the army of Toma the slav:

SLAVS AND BULGARIANS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ENEMIES:

Quote:

He was a bulgarian teacher who spread bulgarism. Its bulgarians who influenced slavs, and not the opposite.

You just said you are slavic, and you are saying I am embarrassing myself
