Serbian Heritage in the area of FYROM (1282-1912)

Before I post the clip (well' I sure got "Youtubeproductive" these days), let me ask Admin, Akritas, Vulgaroktones et al. to hold this theme here (and not in the Slavic History forum for now) at least for 48 hours, for the reasons that not only this is the most frequented forum, but because:


Pseudomacedonian and Bulgarian nationalists and their academia uniformly declare that there was no any presence of Serbs and of Serbian cultural heritage in the entire area of today's FYROM before 1912.

They recognize that medieval Serbia ruled for some time over that area, but they vigorously insist that this rule was ethnically and culturaly inconsequential.They are trying, withstanding the fact that bot of them have not much reasons to "like" Serbs and also the fact that Bulgarians have legitimate interest into affairs of their brainwashed brethren, to sell this story on the Internet, among other ways,including here.

Of course, any serious investigation must be done by proffesionals by examination of sources, symbols and artefacts as well as interpretations present in historical, ethnological, anthropological, linguistical literature etc.Serbian national science must recover itself from the ideologica fallacy, the alleged Serbianism of the entire Slavic population of FYROM propagated with decades before 1941 and the fact that in SFRY, under Communist slavery this question wasn't to be touched at all.

"Youtube" clips are not particulary notorius for being a first-class educational resource, but many of them have certain value.I hope that the following can be termed as such.

All artifacts presented are of documentated Serbian provinience, with the exception of certain frescoes which are work of Greek artists, most notably Michael and Eutychios
