The best part was when the guy told of a story where he (who had grown up in the Trapezounta region as a Greek speaking Muslim with a Turkified name) went to study in Germany. Someone overheard him speaking the Pontian dialect, introduced himself and said he was from Thessaloniki, and then asked which part of Greece he was from. The guy replied he was from Trapezounta and the Pontian from Thessaloniki couldnt hold back his tears.
