Those famous words that belong to Descartus, where to set in motion the belief that this is reality because we are simply conscious. There have been arguements against this and i would side with them aswell.
IF we are to take conscious as being the ultimate reality then what awaits after total disconnection (death) from it ?

There are some who tell me that you cannot trust sense alone as being reality because this, and i do agree, can be an illusion. But i think it does not matter what the reality of the conscious world is because its based on our own perception rather than one ultimate reality. This is where LOGOS ( god hitself)comes from. It is believed the reason why we excell as humans is because we all carry the LOGOS and it only takes experience to unleash our capabilities, theres no arguement there, one can not walk if he does not try.

So is it possible than that we ourselves have build our own virtual reality?

What is money? A rectangular piece of paper or a circular piece of metal? So what? Why is it that it plays a main role in our social system?What actualy makes it powerful when it anyone can recreate there own?

I hope im clear on my example above, i believe we have given things names and actualy take them as being real by definition alone. How is it that so many things play a vital part in our lifes when we doent actualy know how they function?

So little know about the things we have around us, it just is because it just is. Matter alone is not reality, what makes matter and what make s the thing that makes matter? And after all this...exactly what purpose does it serve after death when there is no physical interaction?

Perhaps answeres are in the future. I believe we are on the verge of cloning man...will it have a "soul"....im not sure....will that make man god..yes in a way....because at that point not only can we destroy man, we can create him too without the "natural" biological process. Exactly what seperation will have from god then? Maybe we dont already....cause if LOGOS is his word ( nous, knowledge) then its slowly being unrapt like a gift.

I was writing to someone, a few days ago:

Ο Ντεκάρτ είπε εκείνο το περίφημο «Σκέφτομαι, άρα υπάρχω», έγινε και αυτό ρητό των ηλιθίων πριν λίγο καιρό, κάπως ατυχές αν θες τη γνώμη μου όμως, επειδή προϋποθέτει ότι έχει εξασφαλιστεί ένα άδειο «είναι» αλλά όχι η χλωράδα, η όαση της σκέψης που θα δημιουργηθεί μέσα στην έρημο (ναι, η σκέψη μπορεί να δημιουργήσει μια όαση μέσα στην έρημο της ζωής, αλλά ας είναι τουλάχιστον η σκέψη αυτή λειτουργική!), αφήνει να εννοηθεί πως αρκεί το να σκέφτεσαι οτιδήποτε, πως σε κάνει κάποιον ενώ στην πραγματικότητα δεν έχει σημασία η σκέψη αυτή – καθ’ εαυτή που σε κάνει αυτό που είσαι, η οποία σκέψη μπορεί να είναι και εξαιρετικά ανούσια και άχρηστη και φυσικά μπορεί να μην συνειδητοποιείς ότι σκέφτεσαι πραγματικά, αλλά η φύση, η λειτουργικότητα, ο αντίκτυπος της σκέψης αυτής σε όσα κάνεις και λες και το αν μπορεί να σε ανεγείρει, οπότε εγώ το γυρνάω ανάποδα, «Υπάρχω, άρα σκέφτομαι» δηλαδή έχω κατασταλάξει μέσα μου για το άτομο μου, για το ποιος είμαι (κάτι το οποίο είναι δύσκολο και δεν το καταφέρνουν όλοι), εγώ ο ίδιος φτιάχνω τη σκέψη μου και προσπαθώ να περπατήσω στα ουράνια τόξα του μυαλού μου και να μετρήσω τα χρώματα που εμφανίζονται πάνω σε αυτά,
