I see it as the divine as viewed through the understanding of a steady, mature and logical mind. The Jews defined Him in a fashion emphasising legalism; the Greeks in a way that emphasised beauty and measure.

Kuniska, how can you put Kant above Aristotle? I too, studied him in first year Philosophy, as well as another fount of idiocy: Descartes. "I think, therefore I am." Great thought. Unfortunately, I know a lot of people who are, and yet, think not.
They have different writing styles first of all so in that perspective Kant is more pleasant to me and second Kant was not a misogynist antidemocratic burn the books of Demokritos bsrd as Aristotle was.
But each person is entitled on her own opinion especially when it comes to men species.

Since we are on the topic of divine intervention Alita, i appreciate your story, and touched by your interaction with God.BUt im still walking in the path that i am on.

But just yesterday, on the news here in Australia, if you aussies here saw the story line ....one of my closest workmates stabbed his ex girlfriend to death infront of her daughter....to the extent of her limbs being severed....wheres was God? Where was he? where is this presence that can help at will......he then tried to take his own life but the wound wasnt enough, when police broke the door down he lunged at them with the knife, he was shot twice....but still lives.... Des...our thoughts are with you man, i forgive you in life and death brother....but you have discraced us.

God is a living being, immortal ,logical perfect or in mental blissfullnes ,insusceptible to any evil ,foreseeing all in the cosmos and it is not anthropomorphic, it is the creator of all and father of all and part of him rules over everything, and under its many facets it is named by its powers. Dias as it sees all Zena as it is the reason that life exists Athena for its aetherial command, Hera in air and Hephastus in artificial fire and Poseidon in its liquid and Demeter in the earth.Similarly its other facets according to each ones familiarites the names were given.

Not a perfect translation , makes more sense in greek because of the etymology you see in every word but its a start.
