Default Παιδομάζωμα - Communist child abductions in the Greek civil war

Can contemporary records of the paidomazoma, the forceful abduction of Greek children by partisan guerillas in Macedonia, be posted here please. I once had in my possession some foreign diplomatic records but cannot locate them now. Newspaper articles are welcome as well

24000 were taken and the only who returned were kids who had someone who asked for them. My neighbour where I am at the moment was a victim. I'm preparing some info about it. I'll ask him for some material.

I've also got relatives from Naussa who ended up in Bulgaria.

I have heard lately and specially from the FYROMians in the Diaspora as about this issue. I want to state some quotes from the reference work.
Georgios Manoukas unfortunely (as the himself had said) was the General Inspector of the Child Gathering and also an x-member of the KKE. He returned in Greece 1961.

The author examines Comitern intentions behind its policy towards the children and concludes that from the start of the Yugoslav government (Tito) falsified the numbers of these children, integrated them into the population of the Federated Republic of Macedonia, and acculturated them in the new "Macedonian" culture.
I will stay in the parts of his book that mention the connection between East Communists and Slavophone element left Greek Macedonia. I will remain in the term Slavmacedonians to make easy my writing.

Fact1
Names of the Slavs that involve in the Child Gathering

One from the 5 member’s council during the Child Gathering era was the Slavomacedonian Sikavitsas. This person was responsible for the Slavophone kids.
In the called Mountain Government (KKE) were two Slavophone “minister”. Theirs names were Metrovsky and Stavro Kocev.
These Slavophones make a lot of visits in the places that the kids were had been.. Major point of them was the terminatation the usage Greek language from the Greek kids.
Their lectures composed of with terms such as Macedonia autonomy, Greece was a creation of the Big Powers, Slav Macedonians were the only descents of the ancient, Freedom to the occupied Aegean Macedonia from the monarchofasists e.t.c.
Reminds you something? Like the articles in the macnews.
Both of the volumes you can read what they had learned all the kidnapping kids as Like the articles in the macnews. We talk for information’s that had taken 40 years ago.

Fact 2
Names and places of the Villages and Camps

The FYROM propaganda claims that all the children were Slavphones.
Of course and is a lie. Like the Risto Stefov lies.
In the book VII, page 26 referred the exactly numbers and the places that kids guided.
18.500 went in the Bulgaria (17 camps), Romania (11 camps), Hungary (11 camps), Czechoslovakia (18 camps), Poland (3 camps), East Germany and Albania ( 5 camps).
9.500 went in Yugoslavia (15 camps).
Those numbers and the names are recorded from Red Cross

Fact 3
United Nations Resolutions

On November 17, 1948(193), and also in November 1949 (288) the UN General assembly passes two resolutions condemning the removal of the Greek children, demanding their return. These and all subsequent UN resolutions are never answered. From 1950 to 1952 only 684 children are permitted to return to Greece and this happened because the pressure of the Red Cross and the two new UN Resolutions.

By 1963, around 4000 children (some of them born in Communist countries) have been repatriated. Of those who did not return many died of illness, some escaped to Germany and others have since returned or have yet to return.
In the page 101, Volume 1 you can read all the text of the last Resolution.

Conclusion
FYROM government deny any discussion because knows the sign past. A past that Slavophone members specially those with “Macedonian” conscience had participated in the child-gathering.

I suggest in anyone to read the work. 600 pages full of information’s from that period. A dark period for the modern Greek History. A period with this a "janissary" type action directed against Greece

Voulgaroktonos, this issue will be one from my favorite subjects in the next season.Soon I will bring and other documents that SHOW more light of that era.Actually the Macedonian history of the 19 and 20th cent are my favourite parts of my reasearch.Actually I need some rest.

"We wonder if cooperation can continue with such insincerity. We helped you transport 15.000 children and we organised their transport...On the contrary you do not allow their EDUCATION in yugoslavian schools. And while you did not give us because you do not possess teachers of your own, you do not allow us to give teachers either."

Discussion between yugoslavian communist A. Rankovic and greek communist P. Roussos on EDUCATIONAL issues (01/04/1949).
