Traditional song from Siatista,Kozani.It is also named "Eleven" because with this song at 11 o'clock in the evening all Macedonian fests were finishing.Here,sung by Eleftheria Arvanitaki

Eleven is a very very beutiful song..
I'm listening it for the 10th time sinse I downloaded it

Now please listen to this Beutiful Slavic Macedonian Folk Song from the region of the river vardar... (Gevgelia)..
It is very powerfull, dynamic.. and it speaks about love

I recomend it..
It dates from 1901.. Enjoy it..

hi guys im new to this forum but id like 2 personally thank the person who created this site - for too long us makedones/greeks have sat back and allowed the skops to steal our culture,identity and history without a meer peep from us in the diaspora during the past 15 or so years
it is time we end this saxlamara. As a proud greek macedonian i get deeply offended wen a serbian reject says ohh ur macedonian? shto prajish? like thats wat alexandros went round saying
i luv macedonian dances and am extremely proud to dance them with my fav being pousintnitsa from edessa (no bias of curse haha)

This is the only Makedonska folk song in which greek Makedonomahoi
are mentioned...
The song commemorates the butcher done by andarts in the village of Zagorichani in 1905 by the bands of Vardas and PopDrakos...
The song dates from 1906
I translated it for you...
