FYROM PM Gruevski reject US-Greek proposal for...

a Bulgarian-Canadian was awarded the contract for the rebuliding of the Negotino plant.!!!
According Proto Thema newspaper even though SENCAP submitted the best and highest bid for the project, it failed to win the bid for the contract.

The Newpaper also claims:

-the US-Greek offer was better 90 mil Euros from the Bulgarian-Canadian
-Americans in Skopje are not happy with the desicion of the Skopjian government
-American are now aware (As Greece has maintained) of the Bulgarian associations of the Skopjian VMRO party

So what is it that motivates Gruevski as a politician? Since he's been in office it seems he's been intent to be tough on the Albanians in the FYROM parliament and highly provocative towards Greece. What are his feelings towards the Bulgarians though? What about the recent surge in anti-Bulgarian feelings (the attacks on pro-Bulgarians etc)? What did the VMRO have to say about that?

Well, the present-day, Gruevski's VMRO-DPMNE as opposed to Georgievski's isn't trying to return Bulgarism, but it maintains kind of affinity for official Sofia and recently absorbed a much smaller, openly Bulgarian right-wing party, DRUM.It has never explicitly deviated from the line of Macedonism, although his right hand, Milososki did so in the press before he was nominated for the post, and the party still contains some third level probulgarian individuals.

Gruevski is viewed as a pragmatic economist, and although he is far from being a centrist technocrat, his entire manner is less "ethnic", less "national-romantic" and grandiose, unlike the former VMRO-DPMNE chief.

As for the concrete deal, my informations are sketchy.Like everywhere in the normal world, the government gathers offers for a deal, and (at least they should) chooses the most adequate offer.................now, Gruevski is not so close to Greek business circles like Georgievski...although he is one of the so-called "Aegeans",I do not think that it has much to do with this..........maybe it is a case of corruption or faked tender, I really can't say.

Vasiliyie is it true that the former deputy of the FYROM economics is it Greek Vlach origin ? I am talking for Giorgos Koukas!!!He is in jail now for economical improprieties from Gruevski.

Yorgo Kyouka is a Greek-Vlach, one of two dozens "big men" of FYROMian economics: oligarchs presiding or having a majority vote in large companies and conglomerates.Kyuka was a long-time director of a large-scale hemicals-producing industry "Ohis".He was arrested, together with the members of the company's board of stockholders for alleged financial manipulation worth cca. 1.000.000 EURO.

He is now in pre-trial detention.

I think the speculations about the Bulgarians are all just sensationalist sci-fi of no real importance. What is important is that Skopje has demonstrated that they're no true puppet state, so the US will probably have started rethinking how much they'll support them in the future (not only against the Greeks, but more importantly, against the Albanians).
