REAL push for donations!

This concerns ALL members, so would you please take the time to READ it CAREFULLY!

I have received a number of receipts from the Admin of the site (as Treasurer of the site), and there are a number of running costs that Admin needs to keep up with out of his own pocket..

There MUST be a REAL push for donations at this moment in time, and this must ALSO be done PERIODICALLY.. Let me remind you that this is the ONLY site that can even COMPETE with Skopjean propaganda sites..

We NEED you to a make donation, as small as it may be, to keep this site going.. So PLEASE click on the donation button..

The 2 ways of paying for those that want to are:

1) By requesting via private message either myself or Makedonia25 the bank account number. The bank is Laiki Trapeza, which has branches in most countries. The problem with this method is that if you are not in Australia it is likely you will have to pay an international transfer fee because the account is an Australian based one.

the easiest and cheapest methods for people outside Australia is the paypal option:

2) Through paypal by going to this donations link. Paypal is available in Greece and anywhere else. It's free to get an account and free to send money. You can either transfer money from your own bank account to your online paypal account and then send it to the above address.....or you can just donate via credit card at this link as well.

If you dont have a paypal account, one you have followed the donate now link to the paypal site, just click the link on the left of the screen below where it says:

That was my first question and you got me.

I rarely use paypal mostly in buying things from Europe.

So, at least speaking for my self I will contact you in private for the bank account.

Ariandi, because you are in Greece, the easiest and cheapest thing (if you were in Australia then the easiest thing would be to directly deposit into the Australian Laiki account), is to use paypal.

Because Admin's Laiki account is an Australian-based account and not a Greek-based account, you will probably have to pay a large fee of 10-20 euros, for an international transfer. It depends on your own bank account's fees and conditions for international transfers.

paypal is free to have and is available for people in Greece or anywhere else. once you sign up for paypal (www.paypal.com) you can deposit from your on bank account into your paypal account and then send the payment to a specific email address.......or you can just use a credit card through paypal to send money. It's free to send money.

Also anyone who wants to donate via credit card, the only possibility is through paypal. It's completely free to have a paypal account and send money via paypal.

Oh, I didn't knew that about the bank fees, I have never send money abroad from a bank. Then I will probably use my paypal or even contact with my relatives in Melbourne to take care of that!

Out of curiosity, where is the "donation button"?
I only ask because I already have some money sitting in Paypal and it would be just as easy for me to use that as make a bank transfer.

The donate button wont be available for a while. To donate using paypal you can just send the money to webmaster[AT]macedoniaontheweb.com
