Default DOS Attacks to the Site
Hey guys,
it seems part of the reason for some of the down times have been DOS attacks.

This is not a big deal. We installed a firewall and can move the site to a full hardware firewall if needed.

DOS? Cant you guys trace any I,P's from where its coming from??

This usualy happens to gov sites.

I guess our site has got a lot of attention from many people including some who think they can put us down.

We have backups of the site and also are willing to pay for a hardware firewall if anyone wants to waste more time trying.

Also keep an eye out for Alexa bot, that tends to do a DOS attack on sites. Just server IP ban it.
