The Melbournians are all talk, I mean they claim to be the proudest Greeks yet there seems to be more Greeks from Sydney then Melbourne on this forum even though there are more Greeks in Melbourne then Sydney.

Just to feel good i'm from Kavala (eastern Macedonia), where of course the airport Alexander the Great is and not the fake one in Skopje

Ah, not really. I live in Athens now. However, most greeks in australia are makedones. The same goes for the Greeks in sweden, where i lived. 85% were from Kilkis and Serres.

I'd say most Greeks in Australia are from the Peloponnese

It seems to me most are from Makedonia.

Everyone I communicate with at least.

As for myself I live in the U.S and visit Greece every year. My family lives in Athens(Nea Smyrni, Kallithea and Glyfada) but are originally from Mani.
