Ptolemy, is this guy for real?

Bes, are you kidding? Are you like some representative for an internet version of Candid Camera. Besides, between all the ethnic groups, and the Jakob Philipp Fallmerayer revisionism and hate, are the Greeks left with anything? Really, just a simple question. In fact, challenge to all the revisionists. Slav, Albanian, Turk, ETC... Take it! What is left to the Hellenes if everything we were and are (created by Hellenes) has been appropriated by everyone else?

Sorry but i have this only in italian!

PĂ*ride
(gr. Páris/Aléxandros, lat. Paris/Alexander)

Genealogia

Im going,to translate the parts in red:

-Son of Priam and Ecuba, known with a double denomination Paris and Alexander
-Ecuba in dream saw herself generating a fagot of woods from were started a fire able to destroy troy,Thats why Paris(alexander) by following the advice of the soothsayers was abbandoned....

I never read anywhere that Paris was also called Alexander. The brother in Law of Alexander was also Alexander of Epirus Olympias brother who ruled for a while he also went to Rome to support his fellow Greek against the then small city of Rome. There's Alexander in Sparta as he was one of the 300.It seems to be more of a Dorian name like Pausanias,Amyntas,Philip etc.

Alexander/Paris is a semi-historical person. Alexander the king of Corinth appears to be the first historical person from the Alexanders of antiquity.

Antiquity
Alaksandu, ca. 1280 BC
Alexander of Corinth, 10th king of Corinth (816-791 BC)
Alexander I of Macedon
Alexander of Pherae despot of Pherae between 369 and 358 BC
Alexander I of Epirus king of Epirus about 342 BC
Alexander II of Epirus king of Epirus 272 BC
Alexander II of Macedon
Alexander the Great (Alexander III of Macedon), King of Macedon, 336–323 BC

ALEXANDER is the latin name...

Alexandros = "defender of men," from alexein "to ward off, keep off, turn (something) away, defend, protect" + aner (gen. andros) "man." = defender of men
