So as you can easily read the Epirotes are clearly SEPERATED from the Illyrians. The Chaones are the 1st Epirotic tribe to the south of Illyria and we also have the Thesprotians, Mollosians and Kassopians.

However i think that trying to prove evyry citys name as albanian is useless.Saranda or Santi Quarantta takes the name from the nearer orthodox church of the 40 saints(or smth like that).Argjirokaster takes the name from the legend of the princess argjiro or Janina from the name john an so on.There was an wide spread greek influence in south albania mostly due to the greek church so is quite normal to have also greek names.
