I will quote from the excerpt:

Quote:
"A more precise basis of distinction is furnished by religion, for it accords more closely with the real formation of parties in Macedonia''
Let's look back to my famous equation:

Quote:
Gentlemen,

I will introduce an equation that will shed light on this matter, the answer to all your queries. It is simple and on par with E=MC2. Follow it carefully

Here I go:

Those belonging to the Patriarch church= Greek
Those belonging to the Exarchate= Bulgarian
Those belonging to the Serb church= Serbian

To simplify, religion=nationality/ethnicity (in that period)

Bulgarian arguments that Maks were Bulgarian : Proximity of language
Greek arguments that Aegean Maks/ Maks / Slavophones were Greeks : Proximity of culture
Serb arguments that Maks were Serbs: Proximity of religion

That is the equation that I have come up with and provides an answer to most of the materials that I have seen on the forum. Quite simple but was used quite effectively by the three parties. The most destructive equation ever introduced into Macedonia and a powerful tool to assimilate the indigenous/ethnic Macedonian population.
Thanks for proving the correctness of my equation AGAIN George. Your stubbornness has been very handy. If I can borrow a page from our friend TB, that is "check mate".

Somewhere along your equation you forgot to carry the one, because going by this you can even claim the Eskimos were makedonskis.

Anyway, this is from your governments site

Quote:
The penetration of Slavic tribes towards the Balkans ended at the beginning of the seventh century and created a new situation Macedonias population mixed with the Slav newcomers but retained the Macedonian name, traditions and culture...

In the period from 969 until 1018, a vast empire of the Macedonians emerged, second empire of the Macedonians after the empire of Alexander the Great, the Empire of King Samuel with its capital in Ohrid.

Its quite simple, provide any proof, like an old manuscript from the time of Tzar Samuel, that has reference to him and the Bulgarians as Macedonians. Since your MOFA claims that a Slavo-Makedonski name had been "retained" , you must surely have some evidence to back this. But we both know no such thing exists, and all you have is a senseless equation which you have made up to counter the lack of any real historical evidence. And thats all you can do, make things up.
