What do you believe the FYROM should be named?

Just thought I'd be nice to get people's ideas on what they believe the FYROM should be called as final name for our northern neighbour...

No Macedonia in their name. It is inappropriate and wrong. Even FYROM is wrong and should not have been used as a comprimise. I did read one of the posts were they stated that maybe the southern Vardar province could be named Macedonia. I'm extremely skeptical of that in ways too, but must admit that that small part of Vardar is geographically Macedonian, and some Greeks I imagine, still live there. However, I'm skeptical. Some may think I'm very tough on the issue, but considering the propanganda machine Greeece is against, it is necessary. Taking part truths and turning them into outright lies are amongst the worst and most dangerous lies ever told about any topic.

I agree....not Makedonia in their name because the international community will resort to do what they are already doing with FYROM.....call them Macedonia

Guys we need to think diplomatically here, we have to keep in mind that they need to agree to a name as well.
I think Republic of North Macedonia will work provided there are stipulations that:
They do not EVER:
regard Greek Macedonia as the same nation or land
attempt to link ancient Macedonia with this new republic
proclaim in any way, shape or form, directly or indirectly ambitions upon Greek territory
assist or promote, directly or indirectly any form of civil disorder/terrorism within Greek territory

Violation of any of these stipulations should result in a complete embargo of borders and business from Greece.

Of course neutral countries should sign the agreement as witnesses

Agree with you as about the diplomatic ways. I know that is very hard for the Greek people to understand this but I am sure that the final solution in the name will contain the names Republic and Macedonia

Akritas: From a strictly neutral point of view, southern FYROM is part of Macedonia, hence why they want the name. If we get them to distinguish themselves as "North Macedonia" then that makes the whole world aware that "Hey, there's another Macedonia out there!" .... The Greek one that we all dearly love
At least this way people will realize that FYROM is an upstart country using the name strictly based on geographical reasons.
