Default Greek gods

What is all of this talk about the Greek mythology and our gods from ancient times coming from the Sumarians? I don't believe this.

Hmmm.
Big question ... well it all falls under the hypothetical indoeuropean theory, where at some unknown time, some unknown people invaded various parts of the continent (Europe) and spread a common language, cult and knowledge to the previously (allegedly) 'barbarian folk.
Untill the very source of this hypothetic 'race' of people is found (which as we're going, will be never) and unless the so-called liguists start examining languages based on antiquity and not based on what suits them (which means to use the synchronic (same age) instead of diachronic method [they've compared 8th century Hellinic to the later 5th cent. Sanscrit, and 2nd cent. Latin]) no safe conclusion can be made...

Now as for the Gods, its at least intresting that all our 'mythology' (do keep in mind that 'mythos' used to mean "speach" and not "paramythi"= fairy-tale, lie, fib..) can be direcly explained through the very names the Gods bear unlike other 'cultures' in which all names are litereally unrelated to the imaginative personna.

I have many swift arrows in the quiver under my arm, arrows that speak to the initiated while the masses need interpreters.
The man who knows a great deal by nature is truly skillful, while those who have only learned chatter with raucous and indiscriminate tongues in vain, like crows.. against the divine bird of Zeus.
