I wouldn't be surprised if he has a Bulgarian passport as well

I don't see it as a bad thing, as long as Panserraikos fans make sure to put plenty of 'Makedonia' and 'Vergina' banners up Να μην ξεχάσει που ήθρε...

BTW we've had skopiano players in the pas and none of them referred to themselves as pseudomacedonian... vlepe toni savevski

Yea a great player.

The only incident i remember was in the 1990 or 1991 European Champions league when Darko Pancev was not allowed to play for Crvena Zvezda against Panatinaikos because he wrote Macedonian as his nationality.
In the end he scored 2 goals against Panatinaikos

Darko Pancev was player in the Greek team Panionios time for 6-7 years. So stop the crops. Dont insert politics in the athletics.
Many slavmacedonians were and are players in the Greek teams.

Are you saying that what i said wasn't true??

Plus i never heard that Darko Pancev played for Panionios.

I know Vardar first, then Crvena Zvezda, Inter, And then a team in Germany.

He couldn't possibly play 6-7 years for any Greek team. His career ended in 1995 and he went to Inter from Zvezda in 1992 so...!!!!

One other famous slavmacedonian player was Toni Savevski of the AEK.
Does anybody hear anything as about his ethinicity in 10-12 years that played in Greece ?
