Extremist's daughter 'becomes pole dancer'

Yasmin Fostock — daughter of Omar Bakri Mohammed, known in Britain as a “hate preacher” who blasts women who flaunt their sexuality — has ditched her Islamic upbringing and slammed her father’s teachings, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.

“I don't agree with his views — I just get on with my life and that's it,” she was quoted as saying.

The 27-year-old single mother, who wore a veil as a teenager, has been dancing in revealing outfits at London clubs and touring as a dancer with a show called ‘Ibiza Untouched’.

She admitted she has done “pole dancing, but I like to keep it quiet”, according to The Sun.

“I don't normally do topless work, but I'm willing to go topless if the venue is right,” she said.

But her father Bakri — who controversially accused the British of bringing London’s July 7 bombings on themselves and praised the September 11 hijackers — has denied the steamy allegations against his daughter and claimed the reports were an attack on Islam.

“I have no daughter doing anything like this — all my children are practising Muslims,” he was quoted as saying.

“Because she is a member of my family people want to make things up about her.”

Bakri has been living in exile in Lebanon since his Islamist organisation, Al-Muhajiroun, was accused of being linked to al Qaeda in 2005.

He also claimed he had no control over his daughter who married a Turkish man in an arranged marriage at 16.
“Her behaviour should be the responsibility of her husband,” he said.

But Bakri’s claims were called into question by The Sun which claimed he had paid for Fostock’s breast enlargements.

The newspaper reported that the cleric had secretly paid for Yasmin to increase her A cup size to a DD five years ago so she would feel like more of a mother when breastfeeding her children.

Yasmin Fostok has fled her London home amid security fears


The daughter of a radical Islamic cleric who outed herself as a topless pole dancer has fled her London home amid fears she may become a target for extremists.

Police escorted Yasmin Fostok, the daughter of cleric Omar Bakri, from her flat in the capital's south to an unknown location yesterday, the UK's Telegraph reports.

Ms Fostok, whose real first name is Youssra, last week admitted she was a pole dancer with a troupe called Ibiza Uncovered.

The 27-year-old was quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying she would perform topless "if the venue was right".



Her cleric father Omar Bakri is angered over reports of his daughter.

There was also a report her father — the leader of outlawed terrorist group Muhajiroun — paid $8000 for her to have a breast enlargement operation.

Reports of her activities are now believed to have angered her father so much that she may become a target for extremists.

Police refused to confirm whether Ms Fostok was in a safe house but did say she had been moved at her own request.

Her father, who praised the September 11 attacks while living in Britain, left the country for Lebanon after the July 2005 bombings.

Speaking from the war ravaged region yesterday, Mr Bakri said he believed Ms Fostok was an imposter and not his daughter.

He last week said Britain would pay "a very heavy price" after reports of his daughter's profession.

That "somewhere" is TB's two first posts that opened this thread, but you had a hard time remembering what you have read a few minutes before posting eh?

It's a good thing that the Orthodox bishops are not married - I think because of ecclesiastic law all priests chosen to become bishops should be single.

Recently someone gave me the explanation for this. The church decided this rule, so as to stop nepotism regarding high ranks in clergy.
