Greece actually has a stronger team this year than in 2004. If they can stay focused and maintain their defensive dominance, they can win their group.

June 10 v Sweden
June 14 v Russia
June 18 v Spain

Our friendlies before the tournament in 2004 were even worse. We lost to Holland 4-0 in the second last game I believe.

I know i remember but Holland is a great team and Hungary and Armenia are nowhere in the same level, but not only that look at Spain's team this year, i have a bad feeling about them and the russians, actually russia has a great team now, and the youngest aswell in the Euro tournament, most of their players are from Zenit the team that won the uefa cup, but back to Spain i see them in the finals against Germany, thats what i am predicting. Our players look tired and out of shape for some reason.

It wasnt just Holland we were really bad against as I remember it. We only beat Lichtenstein 2-0 or something like that and had some other very bad losses just before the finals dispite having a good qualifying campaign. That being said I dont think we'll be able to reproduce anything like 2004.
