I've said this before, but BYZANTIUM by Stephen Lawhead. Someone else here has to read it, it is a great book. I recommended it to Pankration to read years ago and he loved it too.

I bought it 3 years ago in Thessaloniki Book Festival. His price then was 22 euros and worthed every penny. I have already read it more than 5 times in these years, and it is like reading it for the first time, every single time
