Default Alexandria in FYROM?

Several NGO organization are planning to revive this year's summer idea (mass gathering of signatures was organized) that a city in FYROM should be renamed Alexandria. The most likely candidate is "Sun's city" (Sončev grad), a projected satellite town of Skoplje whose future is bleak due to technical and economical aspects.

I like this...building of statues, renaming of airports, building of squares, and now a whole city renamed. The case of Greeks renaming things becomes old news as FYROM's renaming campaigne takes off...pretty easy to prove now that the whole thing started when they decided to rename their country in to "Republic of Macedonia"...!!!

These are indeed good news! Now they can't accuse us for changing Slavic toponyms to Greek since they do it themselves. I hope they will give Greek names to many other towns and villages. If they want to honor Macedonian history they can also use many other Greek names deriving from the names of known Macedonians like Philippias or Philippoupolis,Antiochia,Antigonia,Perdikea,Ptolem oupolis,Krateria,Hephaistionis,Selevkia,Amyntea,Pa rmenionis,Verenicea,Filotia,Alketia e.t.c.

Unfortunately these morons (especially the perennial losers from Florina) will use the Turkish Kailar instead of Ptolemaida and complain that the Greek state changed thier poor little village name . All the while they post in forums using avatars of Alexander the Great and Philip.
A truly confused bunch of people.
Amynteo or Sorobitch (sorry bitch!!!) ????
