Please,DO NOT use further this unofficial translation of the initial statements in paragraphs. Authorized translation will be posted tomorrow evening. --------- Proclamation by the Slavic Philhellenic Network What are the motives of the Anti-Greek disposition? Mesmerized by the rhetoric of the political top, brought into a state of misapprehension through everyday parades of pseudohistorians and PC academics, the public in this state succumbed to Anti-Greek hysteria, which was not caused by a single act of the official Athens and Greeks in general. The ancient Macedonia since its foundation was part of the Hellenic world according to language, culture and consciousness. The sources of antiquity as well as the epigraphical monuments in Greek language testify of its Greek character............ The Greek character of Macedonia and our Slavic ethnic character in the context of wider Bulgarian space, with strong traditional Serbian presence, are attested in archaeological artifacts, linguistic finds and historical sources. The theft of the Greek Macedonian identity is happening under the shrouds of darkness of censorship and ignorance.. The Greek revolt of the present-hour is caused by the usurpation of the Greek Macedonian history and expropriation of its symbols. This irredentist politics is launched to turn you away from the problems of everyday life and give you a feeling that you are victims of the "irrational neighbors". The Pseudomacedonism does not offer nothing which enriches you spiritually but it is an illusion and as such an undesirable ideology. Stop the Deslavization! Say no to the hatred towards Greece and the Greeks! Say no to the expropriation of foreign history!

Travel in twos and inform the press of your actions and location. There is less of a chance of violence if many eyes are on you. Make a point of reporting back to us that you are ok. If you do not report back at the agreed time we'll call the cops and the Vardarskan and Greek press. Last edited by New Politics; 12-15-2008 at 07:55 AM. |

I just returned, 20 minutes ago. From 08.00 until 17.00, SPN, together with several volunteers which are not members (all participants totaling 11 people, divided in five groups) , distributed over 4.000 leaflets in postal boxes and attached about 500 on public places: bus stations, walls of public infrastructure, electric power transformers, colonnades in malls and housing projects, lampposts on crosswalks and among the three of Skoplje's main boulevards ["Jane Sandanski", "Partizanski Odredi" and "Aleksandar Makedonski" (!)]. Among the covered city districts were: Aerodrom, Karpo 1, Centar and southern parts of Gazi Baba. With this action, the "Slavic Philhellenic Network" affirmed it proclaimed goals: to inform and educate the public in FYROM about the politically-constructed nature of the current issue and on the artificial nature of the Pseudomacedonism. Today's action is one of the many that will follow. Regardless of the quite improvised means of reaching to the public, the use of which is forced upon us due to the complacent conformism of the larger media house, today's flyers distribution achieved our goal of legitimizing ourselves in front of the broader public. Here are some pictures: ![]() Near MANU, one of dozen posted leaflets. ![]() On the colonnade of the University Library NUBSK Several leaflets were distributed on the National Theater ![]() About couple of dozen were distributed in the region bellow Kale, all the way to "Mavrovka" mall. ![]() ![]() The above pics are from "City wall"-a ring of over 20 apartment blocks encircling the narrow center of Skoplje.
