They have already been transferred to Bulgaria and elsewhere. We said "Good riddance" to them. they were fossils of the cold war anyway, even the U.S.A. realized that they didn't need them anymore - at least not the way they were operating while in Greece. Now the bases in Bulgaria are an access point to the Middle East, not a defensive position against the "Iron curtain".

Well, France was until recently outside of the military scope of NATO since Charles de Gaulle!!! If you have balls, real balls, you can even say "thanks but, NO, thanks" even to the military aspect of NATO. Of course neither us nor you are anything like France dear boy...
