Okay, yesterday I was at an uncle's house. They're relatives I don't see often only on family occasions. My cousin is engaged to a girl whose parents are from Florina. This I already knew. My cousin said though she couldn't speak Greek she still considered herself as one. I met her parents for the first time. They speak fluent Greek. But they also speak ntopia. My cousin's fiancee was brought up speaking ntopia though and not Greek. They live in Melb's outer north where they are a lot of Floriniates and Skops. My guess is that they never taught her Greek must mean they were influenced by the Vardaskans. Her parents were speaking Greek and laughing with the relatives. My cousin's fiancee is planning to learn to Greek. They've returned to Hellenism.

I know many that speak dopika- this does not make them less Hellenic-My very good friend his Baba raised him- Baba could hardly speak any Greek..

When I used to ask her something in Greek- she used to answer;

Neznun Momche( I don't know darling=something sweet)- "I never went to Greek school"- She always said were were Makedones -but Hellenic. she was 99yrs

BTW: No where was the proaganda so deep as it was in region of Florona... many of those who left still hold many old ways of thinking, 2 reasons
1- Old habits are hard to let go of
