By the way, in this era of globalization it is silly to limit ourselves regionally. Macedonia will play on strengthening relationships with other more important countries in the world. Obviously, EU and NATO will never accept us because of the problems of our neighbors (plural, it's not just Greece). The sooner we face it, the better... In fact, many people in Macedonia have faced this within the last few months.

Which countires do you thing would concider FYROM as a trading counter party?
What do you have to offer? Stability? Democracy? Transparency?\
The true remains that FYROM is a grey area soon to be claimed by Albanians and Bulgarians. have you concidered the surging Albanian element in your apparently shallow calculations?
EU and NATO are the sole way to this necessary stability. And this road crosses through Greece and a proper comprimise based on a compound clear solution with no dark spots.

Your wrong Pauli! The truth is that there are no surging Albanians you claim there are but only a minority who have come a long way in civilising themselves over the last few years. I can see how your shallow knowledge of the situation in Macedonia can make you paint a dark picture of the country.

EU and NATO are not the sole way to stability... Macedonian will work along side these 2 organisations and create bilateral agreements with other nations.

Cause your economy is in a bad shape, or rather, your unemployment rate. Your only hope is foreign investment. There shall be little of that while outside of the E.U. and NATO.

Tell us the consequences? The Swiss are outside of both E.U. and NATO and some of your ancestors aspired for Macedonia to become the "Switzerland of the Balkans", didn't they?

C'mon now. The E.U. does not push anybody to get inside. Quite the opposite lately, we are trying to find an excuse to keep the Turks out...

...And the Eurobarometer showed that a slight majority of the European people were against our accession in the E.U., during the latest findings...

...So? Do who is going to get angry if you say: "Sorry, but no" to the E.U. and NATO?
