8 Така ги побунија народот и градските началници, кога го чуја тоа;
It's an excerpt from the Acts of Apostles that refers to Paul's visit in Macedonian cities Thessaloniki and Veroia,in <Makedonski> language,from a <Macedonian> website:
http://www.mkbible.net/biblija/index.php
You'll find it in the link Дела Ап. on the left side,under the chapter 17.

I think it's safe to say that it's ok to post a bible section (providing the exact citation is given).

Only when the <Makedonski> text is translated and since it seems you aren't so intended to translate it,i'll do it for you and you can correct me if i'm wrong,particularly in the red marked points.

Act 17:1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
Act 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Act 17:3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
Act 17:4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.
Act 17:5 But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
Act 17:6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
Act 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus.
Act 17:8 And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
Act 17:9 And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.
Act 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming [thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Act 17:12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

We should have a Macedonian language section on this forum, you can have people like Victor or Edessa or others as the moderators, that can understand the language.

A slight correction Costa

Back in those times the word Hellene was translated to mean pagan, as we discussed that in the other thread.

So in that sense the passage is trying to say many of the non believers became believers.

It doesn't mean that any more though. It makes you wonder why the translator didn't just write "pagan" if it means pagan.

Absolutely wrong.This began only in Byzantine time,at least 3 centuries later,when Christianism became the official religion of the state,actually the only allowed religion and pagans were prosecuted.At Paul's era all the people were pagans except the Jews.
