Well the bible cant be changed at our disposal as you can appreciate. Thus the original meanings/ translations are embedded, despite the modern phenomena that has taken place.

This is a modern English translation though and in the English language Hellene is a synonym for Greek. If in Koine Greek the word meant pagan it should have been translated as such, no?

The words hellene and pagan were synonymous in that period, I posted something on this matter in the other the other long thread. So thus when they used hellene they were indeed referring to pagan, so you can use the terms interchangeably.

The modern definition is an entirely different concept.
