Greek hooligans attack Macedonian rights activist

In the past three days, the house of Arhimandrit Nikodim Carknjas was twice stoned by Greek hooligans.

Group of 30 Greek hooligans stoned and egged Carknjas' house for no apparent reason. No one is hurt in the attack, except for material damage to the house, broken windows, damaged facade. The attack happened in the place called "Aribia" in Voden. The attack occurred on Thursday, and then again on Friday.

"They threw stones and about a hundred eggs. We went out to see the damage, called the police and cleaned up the house. Then the following morning, on Friday, we were attacked again."

After the attack, Arhimandrid Nikodim Carknjas went to the high school the attackers attended. 600 students waited for him and abused him verbally. The Greek professors, instead of controlling the students joined them in their insults telling him to go back to Macedonia.

"Professors were yelling at me to get out of here, to go up! I said to them, where am I going to go. I told the Professors they shouldn't teach their children to be nationalists and fascists. It is shameful what they are doing." said Carknjas.

Nikodim Carknjas has been fighting for Macedonian rights in Greece all of his life. Because of this he had been threatened by Greek Authorities and jailed on numerous occasions for holding Church services in Macedonian.

Maybe some Slavs were attacked. But not Macedonians!

Fyromians obviously needed something to counter the fuss related to the attacks on the car of the Greek businessman in FYROM and came up with this crap. If i take the report as a fact which btw i find it difficult to believe that people attack someone's house for "no apparent reason" then its saying clearly that he incited troubles himself.

Sorry but its quite funny having someone to admit he went to a place where he knew from the right beginning he will create trouble and instead he deliberately fuel the whole atmosphere when he started barking " you shouldn't teach their children to be nationalists and fascists. It is shameful what you are doing".

Maybe this clown expected with such a deplorable attitude, students to respond to his insults by...giving him flowers or something. If the teachers of that high school were smarter they should go straight and sue his ass from the moment he started insulting them.

Nothing at all to be proud of. Howeer, with the language used, it is obvious that the story is tampered with. Still, stupid behaviour if there is truth to it.

How is this story substantiated? As far as I can tell the link zefs posted is from a nationalistic Skopjian diaspora news site.

Probably a load of shit.IF it is true,TSarknias probably got rejected by a boy he tried to molest,then the kid told his friends and they got revenge.
