 Fyromians Went Too Far Today, our neigbours went too far!   the cross replaced from a nazi-swastika and a "ethnic Macedonian" family from "aegean macedonian"...

If that banner reflects the general mood in FYROM, perhaps that is a good reason to veto. How can we expect them to be devoted allies?

| Skopjans Insult the Greek Flag Advertising plates, in which is presented counterfeited the flag of Greece, post today in points of city of Skopja. In these plates is presented the Greek flag with counterfeited the cross, in utmost the flag. The cross has been counterfeited in svastica.. Όπως μεταδίδει από τα Σκόπια ο ανταποκριτής της ΝΕΤ Νίκος Φραγκόπουλος, σε διάφορα σημεία της πόλης των Σκοπίων έχουν αναρτηθεί διαφημιστικές πινακίδες, στις οποίες εμφανίζεται παραποιημένη η σημαία της Ελλάδας. Στις πινακίδες αυτές εμφανίζεται η ελληνική σημαία με παραποιημένο το σταυρό στο άκρο της σημαίας, ο οποίος παρουσιάζεται ως αγκυλωτός σταυρός. Οι διαφημιστικές πινακίδες προαναγγέλλουν έκθεση φωτογραφίας που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο πολιτιστικό-ενημερωτικό κέντρο των Σκοπιων. Στο κέντρο της διαφημιστικής πινακίδας για την έκθεση φωτογραφίας εμφανίζεται οικογένεια για την οποία εικάζεται ότι είναι Σλαβομακεδόνες πολιτικοί πρόσφυγες που έφυγαν από την Ελλάδα μετά τον εμφύλιο πόλεμο. "Η απαράδεκτη αφίσα που εκδόθηκε με ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία και αναρτήθηκε σε δρόμους των Σκοπίων, προσβάλλει ευθέως το εθνικό σύμβολο της χώρας μας και τον αγώνα της εναντίον του φασισμού και του ναζισμού" δήλωσε ο εκπρόσωπος του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών Γιώργος Κουμουτσάκος και πρόσθεσε: "Το γεγονός αυτό αποδεικνύει πόσο μεγάλος λάθος κάνουν όλοι εκείνοι που επενδύουν στον εθνικισμό και τη μισαλλοδοξία. Επιβεβαιώνει, για μία ακόμα φορά, την ορθότητα της ελληνικής θέσης ότι απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση για την οικοδόμηση σχέσεων συμμαχίας και αλληλεγγύης είναι ο έμπρακτος σεβασμός των σχέσεων καλής γειτονίας μεταξύ χωρών και λαών.
