Civil War ?

In severals sources mentioned that in the end of the Greek Civil war the greater part of the Democratic Army (Communists) composed of Slavmacedonians. (Woodhouse, Sfetas, Zhshs e.t.c.) .
I am curious if we can call the second phase of this war as civil or something else ?

Are those sources discounting the fact that many were Slavophones and not skoupidiano-Bulgarians?

I would call it part of the civil war even if Tito did lend lots of support as is the norm in civil war for outside parties

Many of the Slavphones that coorporated with the Bulgarians during the triple occupation of macedonia were rejected from Yugoslav and Greek Communist Leaderships at 1943-44.
But the Communist route and the majority of them were in the side of the Democratic army. Don't forget that a great number of the 29000 children that adopted from them were Slavophones kids

The biggest traitors were the leaders the Greek Communist Party, the ones that dragged villagers and innocent Greek Slavophones in to arms and forced them to shoot in many occasions. The ones that betrayed us and them since at the very end they abandoned them, the leaders of the Communist Party returned from Russia and even have official state burials when they die!! The ones in Bitola have jack!!!

As about the Leaders of the KKE *(ELAS or Democratic Army) is known that from 1936 (at least) was under the Soviet Leadership quidance. They dream the Balkan Federation. Actually FYROMians (e.g. Stefou )used a lot of Communust documents (Rizospastis, Commitern ) in order to show us what done the bad Greeks.

I know this is purely anecdotal and my father would be the first to say that even though he was in the Greek army for part of WW II and the Civil War he was mostly at the rear. However, he made it clear to me on many occassions that during the Civil War he fought against GREEKS, not Slavs. He viewed the "ardates" as enemies and betrayers of Greece. Was Tito involved? the Russians? I don't know and I haven't researched it. But if our fathers can't be trusted who can?

Krateros as you said your father was in the back-line during the civil war. As also you didn't seeking enouph in order to see more clear the events of the civil war.
