"The quarrel came from the other side because somebody thinks that we cannot decide how our airport is to be named. We were not angry when they named their airport "Macedonia".The name of the Solun airport is "Macedonia" and we are not commenting that, that's all right, they have a territory in the northern part which is named Macedonia, and so they decided.

It is their sovereign right, they are a sovereign state and have a sovereign right to decide how their airport is to be named. They could named it, if they wanted to, "Skopje", we were not going to be angry if they have named it "Goce Delčev", just like I believe that France wouldn't be angry....France wouldn't be angry if we named it "Charles de Gaulle".

When somebody wants to find something to provoke that somebody is hurt, offended, attacked by something and so on, something may be always found. There is no space left to say that we provoked somebody. We did not provoked anybody, nor we stated anything else.Simply, the Government decided to name the airport in Skopje "Alexander the Great", just like we named the airport in Ohrid "St. Apostle Paul", insofar we haven't received a reaction from Vatican"

These people have no armed conflict and history with the Vatican but they do against us....a very LONG one.
