It's probably more than i thought at first, maybe 20-25,000, that pic was taken as people were still congregating so they are spread out and it looks like alot more than it is, still it's a pretty good turnout...

No Ithaca the crowd were still pretty much cramped, in fact from the beginning to end. One Greek guy next to me said we are too close let's spread up so we can have some heat relief. And I'm not joking, it was a hot humid day.

Truth Bearer and myself attend AFL football matches every week without fail, and enjoy the odd competition of who can pick the crowd. Although the Truth Bearer supports the wrong club, his crowd predictions are on the money when we attend matches. I can also attest that I am skilled in this area. Years of AFL fanaticism does this to you.

As such, I can assure all that there were EASILY 40,000 people at the celebration last Sunday. A solid turnout.
