im with ithaca on this there was no way there was over 20 thousand i would say best 15 thousand, if you are not stupid you would see that the comparison to the 1994 rally and this rally, the 1994 rally had the whole CBD closed down we where in every single street, this protest had as much people as a south grand final in the 1998, lets not be like the skops and exgagerate figures, ive been to every protest and there was not 40 thousand people there, we just need to face the facts, we got greeks that just dont give a crap anymore, but if those 15 000 where from Makedonia i would be very proud.

There were at least 30,000 if you calculate that the 2 pockets on either side would have had 5,000 each the centre front a packed 10,000 and another 10,000 in the back along Bourke st.Makedonas and Ithaca yr way out yr pessimism astounds me when I personally asked the sarg a seasoned copper and he estimated well into the 30,000 closer to 40,000.

That's what happens when one compares the past rallies, then in 1994 there were some 50,000 said the news media BUT we know that wasn't the case. I was there at the 1994 rally I was very young BUT i remember it very well that it wasn't 50,000 BUT enough to fill almost two MCG's [Melbourne Cricket Grounds] stadiums which has the capacity of in access of 100,000 people at peak. So when one compares that rally in believing? it was 50,000 then one is fooled into thinking this one is less.

Makes sense? I mean you did state as factual the whole CBD had to be closed down. We all know 50,000 isn't enough for it to close down BUT in access of 100,000 plus is.
