It's universally agreed that the standards of human rights in Greece are higher than in FYROM and of course that Greece is a lot more democratic than FYROM. Yes, occasional human rights violations occur, but that happens in every country. At least in Greece, the police don't willingly cooperate with people trafficking people for sexual exploitation and slavery, the judiciary are puppets of the executive and political opponents are imprisoned. You don't see that even in some Third World countries. FYROM is a black hole in the middle of Europe and if it wants to join the EU, many improvements need to be made. Even if the name dispute was solved tomorrow, FYROM would still not qualify for membership (the name dispute is a minor issue by comparison).
