Envoy to summon diplomats from Athens, Skopje to review name issue

The United Nations envoy appointed to mediate between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) in a dispute regarding the latter’s official name said yesterday he would shortly summon diplomats from Athens and Skopje to discuss the matter. The envoy, Matthew Nimetz, said there was “a desire to resolve the issue” on both sides but conceded that “the situation has not changed.” Nimetz was cautious when questioned about the provocative tactics of FYROM’s representative to the UN, namely his repeated references to “the Republic of Macedonia.” “Anything that aggravates the climate does not help,” he said.


I wish there was a bid for this, cause im telling you lads, the leaders of Hellas is taking everyone for a ride. There has been a desire to resolve the god damn name over 15 years!

Well, i saw him in a debate on TV when another guy that i don't know told him straight "You will not do anything for the name! You will allow them to enter NATO as FYROM, and when that is done they will imediately change it to Macedonia". He completely avoided to answer that question and started saying "Sas, parakalw akouste me ligo" and shit like that.
