i was just thinking the other day, exactly what is the outcome going to be at the end of the day with the whole name thing.
I mean dont get me wrong when i say that i think most of the things posted here are worthless, good in knowledge, but worthless.
At the end of the day, we only see an outcome of what the polititcians want it to be.
You think Greece realy cares about the Balkans? You think Greece realy cares about Turks? How prepared is Greece to take on these people? And im not only speaking about the problem countries but also there supporters.America, England, China, Russia...i mean from one side these superpowers kiss Greeces feet and make profitable plans, and from the other they bend her over.
How much support does Greece actualy have? I never see any other countrie stand up and say hey, you know what, stop being so hostile, stop violating the codes and leave the mother of democracy, art, science, maths, philosophy and freedom alone. You guys cram in here and spill your thoughts, spend your hours researching and updating and complaining and screaming.......for what? have any of you actualy changed anything?
have you made a difference? Does the media know about you to bring your knowledge across this cruel and f@cked up world?
you fear everyday that Greece will loose this name battle? Its not up to you, not on a political level anyway. you think Karamanlis or Papadreo cares about honor and respect? Honestly do you, if so i have no idea how you live your lives. Or better yet, do you think in the designated area you reside in, anyone cares or even knows about this name problem?

Greece only cares about her profit margines with the Fyroms nothing else.

Greece is no longer Greece, 20% of the people there are imigrants! 20%! You think theres not Albanians there, or Slavs who pull strings, Greece is infected and moving into the globalisation with her legs spread wide open.
She has no time to think about you guys who love her more than the pigs who dwell in her. Mad priests running around selling property to foriegners and crime like its L.A, brothers killing eachother because one trespassed on the others property.
Greece has internal problems and external, the problem is bigger than you all think, and if you think tommorrow you will here on the news 'FINALLY NAME RESOLUTION ON THE WAY AS EU BACKING GREECE ON A NONE REBUPLIC OF MACEDONIA" keep dreaming, no one gives a f@ck.

My granparents where of different side one a communist and the other a fascit, one never so the other as a Greek...hehehe you see thats how Greeks are. Never seeing eye to eye. From B.C to this day thats who she has always been. So please most of you, dont take this name thing so personal, because the people in Greece havent, and most certainly not the politicians.
go out, read about our achievemenst and how we can stop leaving in the shadows of Alexander, or Aristotle, or Plato and Pericles and Hercules and start leaving in the light with them.
Be someone, heck go be a politician and do things right, go back there and fix things, teach your children who we were and who we can be. But please dont waste your times acting like spies(slavs at there best) and gaining info that realy isnt gong to help our situation.If you realy wanna fight for this go lobby at the Greek embassy, right letters to those karagiozithes back in Greece who are running our mother land to the ground. Right books and try and hand out info sheets to kids in Greek communities.

If you realy wanna ask me how do i feel about the name thing, i think they will get A Republic of Macedonia.I think it is way to late for Greece to do anything. The slavs have been brought up since the 1940's believing they are true Macedonians. 60 years of brainwashing eachother, you think they will ever stop fighting? They are more hungry for this than any other Greek will ever be. They have more passion. They act calm and collective. They are winning and it hurst me as much as it hurts all you lads.
Its up to the leaders of Greece to do something guys, not us.

Some interesting thoughts there, however as a general source of information macedoniaontheweb has actually become leading authority for all those wanting to know. Keep up the good work people, this forum will only continue to get stronger. Spend your hours researching and providing information to fellow Hellenes. A thirst for knowledge is power. The originator of this thread may be of the opinion that all research is a waste of time, however piece of mind and educating the masses is the key. I would rather be educated on issues, regardless of their current situation which is so everchanging. If the slavs were as hungry as the Greeks they would have had their so called name by now, but it is apparent that they are lazy and are mostly internet patriots.

As for writing letters to government officials and the likes, this happens almost once or twice a month. The Macedonian issue is a political issue which is raised when voting etc comes about. There will be a stalemate for some time yet, and the name "Republic of Macedonia" will not be utilised in any official capacity by this pseudo nation any time soon. This I am confident of.

I still dont think it will be as easy as we all like it to be. Volgaroktonos, your an idiot, how could you even think of me being on the same level as Aristotle you anomale?I only chose the nickame because he is one of my fav, not because i wanna be him . this thread is only a queston that came through me when i thought to myself the whole world knows Macedonians where Greek and will always be Greek, scholars know it, historians know it, and so do thos damn anti Greek politicians(Bush, Ordogan, and the crumby leader of FYROM).

But there is nothing we can do other than yes : read, and be edcuate on the subject , i havent declined that idea anywhere on my thread, all im saying is we have to under unfortunate circumstances hold our breath for this to be over due to the greedy politicians ambitions!

My nickname is not racist. Its a tribute to the greatest of all byzantine emperors and yet another figure claimed by skopjian natioanlists. Anyone who actually reads my post knows I have absolutley no problem with Bulgarians despite any historical issues and I fully support them being in the EU; which they are in deservedly so.
